JSEF Signal Article: January 2018

Each month, Board member Billie Davis shares the latest news with readers of the Crockett Signal newspaper and our web site. Keep up on our newest accomplishments and upcoming events.

The John Swett Education Foundation wants to start off this new year, 2018, with a sincere thanks for all the support you’ve given our schools so far this school year. It will be satisfying to look at our trusty thermometers during this frosty month and see the heat begin to rise—thanks to the efforts we’ve made. Thank You!

The directors did not have a formal meeting in December, but we did get a request from the 4th and 4/5 Rodeo Hills students for their trip to Camp Arroyo. It was an easy set of e-mails that went back and forth because this is precisely the kind of educational support we are focused on. I don’t know if you remember the field trips you went on when you were in 4th grade, but it is an important time in a student’s growth and development to be able to provide such a positive and productive experience.

We’ll have more details and reports to make in our February report. Until then, have a happy, healthy, and safe 2018. Thank you!

Our JSEF meetings are held in the District Offices. The third Monday of the month at 7:00. Please come to take part, join, or simply witness.
